My First Few Attempts at Becoming a Wealthy Affiliate
A few sales but no profit
I first became interested in affiliate marketing two years ago. My aim-to generate an income to pay off my mortgage. Researching led me to realise that every other day some "guru" marketer releases a new eBook with the "latest technique" to make millions.I have to admit that at times even I was seduced by headlines like those above. I thought that my success was guaranteed. I would purchase the latest technique to make millions. (But never did).In fact I never made any money at all.
I had started with ad sense and soon realised that this games not as easy as the "gurus" suggest. Sales came (Not many) and that proved to me thatinternet marketing could work. However, when I sat down and did the maths (well actually paid the credit card bill for ad sense clicks) it was obvious that I was not making money.

I took a step back to review my aims and goals. I still wanted to pay off my mortgage but I needed to learn internet marketing from scatch.Any new skill is not learnt over night and to master anything you can take two approaches.
